Directions:
Slice 8 to 16 oz. top sirloin steak into thin strips. Sauté' in 1 tbsp. olive oil or use non-stick cooking spray. One bunch of chopped green onions (use all of bottoms and ½ of green tops) may be sautéed with steak. When meat is browned, add 6 cups water, 2 cups apple juice or apple cider, ¾ cup regular or instant rice and contents of soup mix. If desired, 1 cup of raw baby carrots may also be added. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
