Our own taco soup. Add ground beef, corn, beans and tomato sauce. An all time favorite.
Brown ¾ to 1 lb. ground beef (lean or regular) in a skillet. When meat is done, add soup mix, one 15.25 oz. can of whole kernel sweet corn (drained), one 16 oz. can of pinto beans (drained), one 8 oz. can of tomato sauce and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes and serve. If desired, top with cheese and chopped onions and serve with tortilla chips.
Taco seasoning (chili pepper, wheat flour, salt, spices, dextrose, corn syrup solids, dehydrated onion, dehydrated garlic, natural flavor, disodium insonate, extractives of paprika, spice extractive, silicon dioxide), onion, beef base (hydrolyzed soy protein, salt, sugar, beef fat, onion, food starch, natural flavor, caramel color, spice extractives, disodium insonate, disodium guanylate, silicon dioxide), chili powder, garlic, oregano, and selected spices.
