Southern Fried Chicken Soup Mix

Add milk and frozen popcorn chicken for a soup with a wonderful fried chicken flavor.

Directions:

Combine soup mix with 5 cups milk (whole, low fat, skim, 2% or non fat powdered dry milk). Bring to a boil on medium heat stirring constantly. Reduce heat to simmer and add 1 package of Popcorn Chicken (found in frozen food section of your grocery store) and continue cooking until thickened, stirring occasionally. Popcorn chicken does not need to be thawed before adding to soup. Can be served over rice or mashed potatoes. Approximate cooking time 15 minutes. Serve and enjoy.

Chicken base (Salt, corn starch, sugar, hydrolyzed corn gluten & soy protein, maltodextrin, rendered chicken fat (rendered chicken fat, natural flavorings), dry onion, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate, partially hydrogenated soybean & cottonseed oil, spice extractives, extractive of tumeric (for color), yellow #6 lake, less than 2% soybean oil and calcium silicate as processing aids), cornstarch, onions, roux mix (instant blending flour (bleached wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin), hydrolyzed vegetable protein (soy), caramel color, seasoning blend (salt, red pepper, spices), silicon dioxide (to prevent caking), hydrogenated soybean oil, garlic, parsley and selected spices.
